Margit Cohn was appointed as Senior Lecturer in 2006, after teaching law at the University of Leicester in the United Kingdom. She holds a joint appointment both at the Faculty of Law and the Federmann School for Public Policy and Government. Her main research interests in public law and policy extend to the nature and politics of judicial review, energy law and policy, executive powers and constitutionalism. She teaches classes on public law and on regulation. Her publications span her areas of interest, including the study of fuzzy forms of legality and the nature and politics of non-statutory executive powers.
Dr. Cohen has been an academic visitor at several academic institutions, including Georgetown University, the University of Oxford, Tulane University and Université Jean Moulin Lyon III. Among her administrative responsibilities, Margit is the academic director of the student exchange programs at the Hebrew University Faculty of Law.
